About This Blog

The BFA Blog is an extension of the Barrie Foster & Associates web site. Postings on this Blog are listed, by month and in ascending order, in the Blog Archive panel on the right. Links to other relevant pages within this Blog are highlighted in purple. Links to external web sites are highlighted in red. Use your Back button to return to the main Blog if the new site does not open in a new window.

Dateline March 2014.

At the end of February 2012 Barrie Foster was appointed Editor of Visit Wales:Share Wales on a two year contract. The functions of the Share Wales web site pretty much superseded my intentions in setting up the BFA Blog, so entries were discontinued after that time. In the meantime, and as time allowed, I have been rebuilding the BFA web site in anticipation of the end of the Share Wales contract in March 2014. The rebuild will include the Pembrokeshire Coast Path Photo Itineraries from my old site, extending from Cwm yr Eglwys to Penycwm in line of march. A selection of around 100 of these images have been uploaded to Flickr with a Creative Commons Licence, which allows online promotional use in a destination marketing context so long as a photo credit is given, the images are not altered in any way and are not used for monetary gain. For the time being the BFA posts on Blogger will be retained, for historical interest if for no other reason - many are snapshots from an extremely dynamic period of technological change which continues unabated. Others have a longer shelf life and may contribute to the debate at a time when tourism structures in Wales are under review!
